《周末画报》2019 7月艺镜专题封面设计方案Entrusted by the cultural editor of Weekend Pictorial to design the cover of July 2019 Art Mirror.
From my personal point of view, the mirror is like the refracted surface of the water, which can makes people think deeply about their own process. And that became the concept of this cover. 
Through the observation of the content, I found that the style of artists in this study were all contemporary and surreal. Because of this, the whole tone of the style also becomes more surreal.

我以个人理解的镜子去设计，镜子如同折射的水面让人深思自身的过程。这也成了这个封面的概念。通过观察内容，我发现这期研究的艺术家都比较当代并且超现实。也是因为这样整个风格调性也变得比较超现实。

受周末画报主编委托，我参与了 2019 年6月的文化版封面设计。主题是与黑胶的邂逅，主编希望有亚当诞生的那一瞬间的双指触碰的感觉。

	
	Commissioned by the editor-in-chief of Iweekly, I participated in the cover design of the culture edition in June 2019. The theme was like an encounter with vinyl, and the editor wanted to have the feeling of two fingers touching at the moment of Adam's birth.

当代亚洲艺术与出版的发现是个虚拟出版项目，目的是围绕当代亚洲艺术和出版探讨其引起的社会价值和意义。我通过提出并与团队成员探讨“什么是出版？” 这个问题，决定基于不同内容选择合适的载体将内容呈现（比如我们探讨了岳敏君的笑脸在他讽刺社会上面的作用，于是我用面具的方式未出版载体，面具背面用来承载文字）。最终呈现为一个多样载体的出版物盲盒。

This virtual publishing
project focuses on the topic of Asian contemporary art, thinking around art
publishing and Asian art publishing. 


Asia itself is not
a homogenous landscape, not only a single location but also multiple and
intersecting landscapes of geography, culture, society, history, and within.
The rise of Asian Contemporary Art also indicates that pan-Asian
internationalism is gradually replacing the European cultural hegemony towards
cultural pluralism. This has permeated into the field of design and publishing.


There is now a
popular word called Decololized design, which advocates the pluralism of design
and opposes cultural colonialism.Independent
publishing itself has the meaning of political action, which can minority
groups and people to communicate in the "dialect", like a
cultural way of democracy. 
Designers understand that design
cannot solve a social problem and must be a participant, push on, and support
government agencies and community leaders to lead real change (Van Buren). It
can say these art and publishing activities are an act of promoting change.

	Design concepts about the publishing
When we decided on the form of our publishing,
we were inspired by Paul Soulellis about what
publishing is. Publishing can be everything as long as it can contain your idea
and words that accurately express your concept to the receivers. It is a form
of selling toys for young people. It drives them crazy because they can’t see what
insides is. Many blind boxes have the same package, but they contain different characters
inside. You never know which one you will buy, which like a wager. In this way,
buyers will buy it several times until they get what they want. 


In order to be like Asian art
style, we think about the spirit of Asian. This idea brings me remember a quote
from Bruce Lee- water, water is flexible, also powerful, it can shape like any
containments. Just like how we want to create our publishing.

This is a visual identity design
project for SOSG. This online brand launched by Rosie and Faris, a creative and
strategic couple.

and several running, the project is complete.

When submitting the paper, I followed the medieval and mystery visual tone of the original LOGO; analyzed their design requirements to designed the essay and product card. This work ultimately impressed the client and led me to the project.

在投稿的时候，我针对甲方想要神秘感进行了设计，遵循原来的 LOGO 的中古视觉调性，分析它们所需的设计需求设计了它们的线下任务单以及产品卡。此作品最终打动了客户，使得我拿到这个项目。

	The real process of my design is far more complecate, Rosie wanted a modern, secrete feeling of their visual identity, so I follow their explaination and finally create the final list that we all likes.

我真正的设计过程要复杂得多。通过再次询问，Rosie她们其实是想要一种现代的、隐秘的视觉身份感，所以我跟随他们的解释，最终创造出我们都喜欢的最终样式。

Your personal Bookshelf Management System
Search My Book is a bookshelf management app that aims to create a useful AI system to manage and arrange your bookshelf resources. Through collecting and classifying the data, user can utilize their physical book resource more efficient and effective than searching online resources only.

 &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; This is the SKO and refletive publication of the design entrepreneur class. When I pondered the final project of this class, my understanding of the defination of the “archive” is far more mature than the time before I study master program at RMIT.


An archive is an accumulation of historical records – in any media – or the physical facility in which they are located.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Archive can be as big as physical and digital collection on the national museum gallery, it also can be as small as your personal portfolio, or, all your toys in your room. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Archiving as an motion and active that aims for summarized and use archives in a new way or theme. I believe archiving can help us managing and utilizing our resources and sometimes, help us review and preparing for the development. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; I asked myself, what kinds of my daliy life problems can be solved by archiving? I realized that the books that I had bought doesn’t help me in a right time. I forgeting use them almost all the time when I am doing research. Why not making a system that helps me manage and use my books more effetively and efficiently?

	Summary of the projectI designed a storytelling wall for the bioscience faculty in their building entrance. It tells a story about the bioscience warrior fight for the virus monster and finally defeats them. The main highlight is that I combine the PPE mention with the story at the entrance of the door. The main style is combining with manga, MRI pictures.
我在生物科学学院的大楼入口处设计了一面会讲故事的墙。它讲述了一个生物科学 “战士” 与病毒怪物战斗并最终击败他们的故事。主要的亮点是，我将入口位置的 PPE 佩戴提醒与我的故事相结合，通过提醒这些“进训练场的战士准备好没”来提醒他们佩戴 PPE 防护套装。主要风格是结合漫画、MRI 屏幕设计。What is the Problem?The bioscience faculty asked for re-designing the entrance wall. They are not satisfied with what it looks like now. According to my observation, the entrance area can be separated by 3 main functions. I classified it through the columns in front of the wall that I had to design. After I interviewed Tesintha, who currently study Master of Laboratory Medicine, she let me know that majorities of the student love their major, but they need an entrance that can engage and make them feel energetic and proud of what they are studying.Idea of the solution.I decided to make a storytelling wall with LED light to help create the visual identity for the bioscience faculty.

	by using different containment, the tone of the story will change.I decided to tell this story through the Egyptian wall print style cause it is religious, serious but it can be fun. But after reconsidered it with my tutor, I decided to change it, so I came up with idea that using mango style with MRI picture style to translate the story will be far more interesting than simply use Egyptian wall print.

	The most significant part of my proposal is how to combine PPE mention with the whole story. Because the design of the entire wall is a story, like the ending of a book, the writer will ask readers what they think and do. So I did the same thing by asking, “are you ready to fight?” mention the student wearing the story PPE.
